欧洲之旅——荷兰

欧洲作为旅游胜地，每年都有大量的游客前往。其中，西欧、中欧等地区集中了许多著名的景点和风景名胜，是不少旅游者来欧洲旅游的必选之地。2024年5月份，我报了从深圳出发的旅游团前往荷兰、德国、瑞士、法国、比利时等几个国家，浏览了一些风景名胜，感受了一下当地的风土人情。由于本次出行时间有限，加上准备不是很充足，只能通过图片、视频粗略记录一番，本次呈上的是荷兰之旅，接下来会陆续发出出我在其他国家的一些见闻。大家如果感兴趣，也欢迎到我的微信公众号“兵华小伙”去了解，里面更多图片等内容。

Europe is a favourite destination, drawing huge numbers of visitors every year. Western and central Europe in particular pack in many famous sights and scenic spots, making them a must for anyone touring the continent. In May 2024 I joined a tour group departing from Shenzhen to visit the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium, taking in some of the scenery and getting a feel for local life. With limited time and less preparation than I would have liked, I could only record things roughly through photos and videos. 阿姆斯特丹以开放和包容的文化理念闻名天下，这里古老历史风韵和现代气息相融。漫步街头，不同肤色、种族，打扮各异的游客与本地人成为一道独特的风景，华丽喧闹的街道和幽静安宁的运河相得益彰，开放理念和保守思维共存。

Amsterdam is known worldwide for its open and tolerant outlook, where old-world charm and a modern atmosphere blend together. Walking its streets, visitors and locals of every skin colour, ethnicity and style of dress become a landscape of their own; the flamboyant, noisy streets and the quiet, peaceful canals set each other off, and liberal thinking sits side by side with conservative habits.

另外，发现荷兰人对自行车几乎爱到痴狂，到处可以看到骑自行车的人，处处都有自行车专用道，在公园、市中心、学校、广场、火车站等到处都可以看到停满自行车的停车场。

I also discovered that the Dutch are close to fanatical about bicycles. Cyclists are everywhere, cycle lanes run everywhere, and in parks, the city centre, schools, squares and railway stations you constantly come across parking areas packed with bikes.

阿姆斯特丹是世界上知名的钻石交易中心，荷兰人已经探索出了几十种不同的钻石加工工艺，甚至掌握了108面的切工工艺。来到这里参观钻石博物馆，近距离了解钻石的切割工艺，从不同角度了解钻石的魅力与艺术。这里还展出各类钻石成品，让人大开眼界。

Amsterdam is one of the world’s best-known diamond trading centres: the Dutch have developed dozens of different cutting techniques and even mastered a 108-facet cut. Visiting the diamond museum here, you can see the cutting craft up close and appreciate diamonds — and their artistry — from different angles. The museum also displays finished pieces of every kind, which really opens your eyes.

风车，是记录荷兰历史的最佳印证。桑斯安斯风车村(Zaanse Schans)是有居民居住、开放式的保留区和博物馆，位于阿姆斯特丹北方15公里。当天，这里游人特别多，晴朗的天气在暖暖的微风夹持下，游人完全陶醉在这美景当中，大家纷纷拿起手机拍照发朋友圈，在古老建筑以及风车、木鞋作坊、奶酪加工厂等的映衬下，大家似乎回到了17、18世纪的荷兰田园生活。

Windmills are the best record of Dutch history. Zaanse Schans is a working, open-air conservation area and museum 15 kilometres north of Amsterdam, where people still live. It was very busy that day: in clear weather and a warm breeze, visitors were completely absorbed by the scene, phones out to post on WeChat Moments. Against the old buildings, windmills, clog workshop and cheese factory, everyone seemed to slip back into Dutch rural life of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Experiencing the local way of life

对于本次行程，旅行社安排的旅馆整体让人满意。我们在荷兰是住在阿默斯福特弗莱彻餐厅酒店，该酒店是一个不错的住宿之选，位置虽然感觉有点偏，但整体环境不错，安静，很有乡村风情，周边有很多植被，也有教堂和参天的古树。

For this trip the hotels arranged by the tour operator were generally satisfying. In the Netherlands we stayed at the Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant in Amersfoort — a good choice overall. It felt a little out of the way, but the setting was lovely: quiet, with a strong country feel, plenty of greenery around, a church and towering old trees.

每当顾客用完餐离开，服务员都会喷上一种特殊的消毒液，并用一次性抹布将桌面擦得干干净净。这个餐厅老板兼员工的本地人告诉我，他的餐馆一共有6个员工，由于服务好，当地很多人会提前预约来这里用餐。当天，一些本地顾客看到我们是“外国人”，主动友好地与我们打招呼。

Whenever guests finished a meal and left, the staff would spray a special disinfectant and wipe the table spotless with a disposable cloth. A local who is both the owner and a member of staff told me his restaurant has six employees in all, and that because the service is good many local people book ahead to eat here. That day, some local diners noticed we were “foreigners” and greeted us warmly of their own accord.
